Spotted this eggplant blossom in full bloom this morning and have to move in closer to show you just how freaky it really looks. I swear, if I didn’t know any better, I’d think it was sticking its tongue out at me.
Below, the bell pepper plant deploys its tiny raygun.
And finally, a squash blossom, whose pistils uncurl into long, fuzzy legs that scuttle silently in search of prey in your garden at night, just like facehuggers from Alien. Or so I’ve heard.
